Scar Therapy Rehab
Physiotherapy Delivered Scar Therapy - Restoring movement, comfort and confidence through skilled physiotherapy
Scars from surgery, injury, burns or amputation can tighten, stick to underlying tissue and cause pain, sensitivity or restricted movement. For amputees they can also affect socket comfort and fit. Physiotherapy-led scar therapy uses hands-on techniques, desensitisation and guided movement to improve how a scar moves and feels, making it part of your overall rehabilitation, not just its appearance.
